IBM rewarded its best partners on the Business Partner CEO Symposium in Mallorca, Spain. One of IBA Group companies, Stone Computers, received the prestige international IBM award for "Outstanding Achievements in 2006" as a "Very Important Partner" for the CEMAAS region (Central Europe, Middle East and Africa, Austria and Switzerland). The certificate was handed to Alexander Avramov, CEO of Stone Computers, who took part in the annual IBM forum Business Partner CEO Symposium. The event was held in Mallorca, Spain. Stone Computers was the only Bulgarian company invited to the Symposium as a VIP. “This is a very important acknowledgment for us”, Mr. Avramov said after his arrival from Spain. “We have demonstrated that Stone Computers complied with the worldwide IT professional standards in every aspect of its business and achieved its targets, which was highly appreciated by our partners. I am grateful that the efforts and the professionalism of our team have brought excellent results, which is an additional motivation for everybody in Stone. In 2007 we have a number of important projects coming and the IBM's award will further stimulate our efforts.”
Mr. Avramov added that the award was a milestone in the implementation of the company's strategic targets.
